Guaranteed Rate Field opened in 1991 on the South Side of Chicago, replacing the original Comiskey Park. The park is known for its exploding scoreboard — a nod to the original Comiskey's famous pinwheel scoreboard — which fires off fireworks after every White Sox home run. The upper deck offers sweeping views of the Chicago skyline to the north.
