Coors Field opened in 1995 in the LoDo neighborhood of Denver and immediately became known as the most offense-friendly park in baseball due to the thin mile-high air. The park's purple row of seats at exactly 5,280 feet above sea level is a unique feature. The humidor system, introduced in 2002, helps mitigate the altitude's effect on baseballs.
